About Dr. Saint
Dr. Saint has lived in a variety of places but considers Ocala, where he graduated from Forest High School, his home. It was during his college years at the University of Florida, studying biomedical engineering, that he found an interest in pursuing a medical career. After graduating from University of Florida with a degree in Engineering Science, he attended University of Alabama School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then studied general surgery at the Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, Alabama.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Saint decided to open a general surgery practice in Crystal River, Florida, in 2007. His practice focuses on the primary aspects of general surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery.
He routinely treats the following disease processes: gallbladder disease, appendicitis, colon and rectal disorders, breast cancer, hernias, reflux disease, thyroid nodules, parathyroid disorders, and skin lesions, among others. Dr. Saint has hospital privileges at Tampa General Hospital Crystal River where he performs minimally invasive surgeries via laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
Dr. Saint is grateful to be a part of the medical community in Citrus County and is excited to be able to provide state of the art surgery in this area. He and his wife, Anne, are thrilled to call Crystal River home as they raise their four children in a place of simplicity and natural beauty and look forward to many years of providing surgical care to the community.
